El Cuerpo Académico de Innovación y Tecnología para la Educación y el Desarrollo, surge en 2017 como la propuesta de un grupo de investigadores del Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Champotón para fomentar el conocimiento científico entre la comunidad tecnológica, mediante el desarrollo de proyectos de investigación de impacto para la sociedad.
